Tasting Notes:
Rich with opulent red cassis, dusty blackberries, ripened plum, and black tea spices. Beautiful fresh aromatics that shows the pureness of the fruits. The palate satisfies aromatic promises, as the deftly balanced tannins highlight impressive acid lift, freshness, and elegance. While boasting a plush richness and roundness through the finish. It drinks beautifully now and will continue to develop nicely over the next 15 years.
Wine Advocate review:
"The 2019 Proprietary Red Wine blends Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (78%) with smaller amounts of Merlot (10%) and Cabernet Franc (8%) from Carneros, and tiny bits of Malbec (2%) and Petit Verdot (2%). The nose offers cherries, a subtle earthy dustiness, pencil shavings and vanilla, while the palate is medium to full-bodied, soft, plush and creamy, yet it's somehow bright and mouthwatering at the same time. Showing lovely balance and length, with gentle, dusty tannins on the finish, this is a fine, elegant example of what Napa Valley is capable of. 650 cases produced."
