Tasting Notes:
Showing gorgeous red and black fruit up front with expressive aromatics. Brilliant dark cassis blackberries, plum, and dark fruits, along with hints of chocolate and coffee notes. Filled with engaging freshness and vibrancy and unfolds through the mid-palate to an impressive, well-tiered beautiful finish accompanied by great depth and length. Pillowy tannins that show a layered and complex wine along with a rich, lush mouthfeel and finish. It drinks beautifully now and will continue to develop nicely over the next 15 years.
“Based on 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, the 2018 Red Blend sports a dense purple hue as well as ripe, powerful notes of black fruits, scorched earth, graphite, licorice, and a touch of violets. Tight, backward, and medium to full-bodied, it has solid overall balance, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. Give bottles 2-4 years in a cold cellar and enjoy over the following 10-15 years” Jeb Dunnuck 92 Points
